New facilities will be created to process raw materials and products more thoroughly

The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Ts. Tuvaan presented 14 mega projects and processing plants included in the 2024-2028 action program of the Joint Government at the Cabinet meeting. The projects aim to create new facilities for more thoroughly processing raw materials and products.

14 mega projects are planned within the four main policy areas. In this context, the “Coke-chemical complex,” “Coal-chemical complex,” “Copper processing complex,” “Steel production complex,” “Jonsh concentrate processing complex,” “Construction material production complex,” and other processing plants will be put into operation.

Also, to develop value-added products, increase gold extraction and build a gold refining plant, acquire coal-chemical technology, prepare human resources, and determine the feasibility study of future large-scale projects, we set up a small-scale pilot plant to extract gas fuel, synthetic materials, and hydrogen. This will be implemented in the next four years.

At the recent Cabinet meeting, it was decided that special licenses would be issued to enterprises that have established or are in the process of establishing production and technology parks under the relevant laws and regulations. Additionally, the acquisition and release of parkland for special state use will take place in the fourth quarter of this year.
